Five BridgesPurchase of sickle bar mower attachment for brush cuttingWhat is the Project: The mower attaches to our tractor and will be used to cut brush and poison ivy along the 8.2 mile trail. Currently, we use chain saws. The mower, which can be pivoted up or down, will significantly reduce labor and make the trail safer and more attractive. What will the volunteers do: Volunteer labor will be used to assemble and mount the mower. Each hour of mowing will require two hours of volunteer labor to clear the brush cuttings from the trail.
