Yough Riverbuild 8 picnic table, 3 benches,5 fire rings, 2 reroofsWhat is the Project: The project is to build (6) 8 ft picnic tables, (2) 6 ft covered picnic tables, replace (3) 8 ft benches and (3) 5 ft steel fire pit rings at Roundbottom Campground (Mile Marker 99.4). Re-roof (2) covered picnic tables between Adalaide, Blue Canoe Campground (Mile Marker 92.4) and Roundbottom (Mile Marker 99.4) and repair (2) benches between Ridge Blvd (Mile Marker 89.4) and Roundbottom (Mile Marker 99.4). The (6) picnic tables and (2) covered picnic tables will be built by the students of the Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center Carpentry What will the volunteers do: The Volunteers of the Yough River Trail Council Chapter will buy, transport, and install all items mentioned above. The project will involve approx. 10 volunteers. What Are You Asking the Fund to Provide: buy materials to build the above list. Grant funded February 2025 |
