Clarion Little TobyBuffalo Turbine Cyclone PTO Leaf Blower to help keep the entire trail’s ditches and culverts open.What is the Project: leaves clog the ditches and culvert pipes. The leaf litter breaks down to silt and this build-up has filled ditches and, in some instances, has caused overflow along the trail. Our volunteers have used rakes and shovels on only a small percentage of the ditches every year but it is a losing game. We can’t keep up using manual tools and water can cause so much damage to the trail in a very short time. What will the volunteers do: The leaf blower would be used 20+ days a year to help keep the ditches clear and effective.
