Five Bridgesfor wayfinding signage along PA28, materials for mileage markers, and beautification at road crosingsWhat is the Project: The signage will direct trail users from PA28 to three accessible points. Eight mile markers will be conspicuous along the trail and beautification will be at intersections with local roads. Five Bridges Trail is between the Clarion River-Little Toby and Red Bank Valley Trails. Five Bridges currently doesn't cross any major roads so visibility and public awareness is very low, in spite of social network and public exhibitions. We want more people to use the trail. The signage along PA28 between Brockway and Brookville is essential to make the trail well-known and the beautification desirable to keep people coming back. What will the volunteers do: Volunteers will provide additional tools needed to prepare the plant beds, posthole diggers, and vehicles/trailers to transport the materials to the various work sites.
