The project will give visitors easy access to the newly installed trail section, Steyer Bridge, and provide more parking for the gorge trail section across Rt 381. The parking lot will have 30 parking spots available for vehicles and a handicapped spot What Are You Asking the Fund to Provide?MWA is asking the Fund to support the purchase of the required materials to construct a parking lot such as 2B and 3B gravel, drainage pipes, handicap signs, geofabric, etc... The project will take place in two parts, parking lot preparation, and parking lot finalization. MWA is requesting funds for parking lot finalization What Will Volunteers Do? MWA’s Trail Committee and community volunteers, who have experience in construction, will provide all of the labor necessary for installing the parking lot along the Indian Creek Valley Trail. MWA’s Trail Committee has confirmed that external volunteers are willing to donate their time and machinery for the entire project.
