Westmoreland HeritageEagle Scout to construct a kiosk at MP 13.75 on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail.What is the Project: Provide material for an Eagle Scout project to construct a kiosk at Meiers Hardware Access (MP 13.75) on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. What will the volunteers do: I, with the help of my family, troop, and the Westmoreland Heritage Trail will be constructing a kiosk at the Meier's Hardware Trail Head. The Kiosk will be constructed primarily through treated lumber, supplied through donations from hardware stores, and the money donated by the WHT. The kiosk will try to be constructed throughout the next two summers. I chose this project because I often use the local trails to run, and they are in need of a kiosk at this location. What Are You Asking the Fund to Provide: lumber, shingles, plexiglass. hinges, hasps, bulletin board, Food, and Refreshments for Work Days. Garbage Bags, Gasoline Grant funded January 2023 |
