Purchase a trailer-mounted blower to keep the trail and ditches free from debris.

Galen has it on the back of his truck bed and has been putting it to good use with about 30 miles done already. We’re using it to blow off leaves and sticks from the treadway and leaves and debris out of the ditches, including on the Sligo Spur. He has been using it in rainy weather so that it doesn’t blow off the fine crushed limestone. We’re hoping we can get some crushed limestone resurfacing done now where needed on a clean surface.

The hose is a Galen Shirey/MacGyver addition so he can see where the blower is pointing from his truck cab. Being inside the cab with the remote control reduces dust and noise and works very well.
