Contrust 11,200 fet of trail by volunteers

What Are You Asking the Fund to Provide?

We are requesting $X,XXX for this project. $X,XXX will pay for the rental, delivery, and return of a mini-excavator and a bulldozer.

Those pieces of equipment will be used to grub and remove debris in the drainage system and to grade the 11,200 feet of trail. Volunteers will operate the equipment, but areas around concrete culvert headwalls are more dangerous and take the skill of a professional. These skilled operators are willing to assist if they see others dedicated to the trail improvements. $3,000 will be used for a trail crushed stone trail surface. It is estimated that this project of 11,200 feet will generate over 448 volunteer hours. An average rate of $25 per hour of volunteer sweat equity brings the value of volunteers to $XX,XXX.
