MYTC’s Ford Tractor needs the large rear tires replaced. The Ford Tractor is operated by MYTC volunteer labor to use equipment such as auger, blade, drag, and a leaf blower in support of trail maintenance activities. Local commercial tire companies were contacted for quotes and the cost to replace the tires on-site at MYTC’s shop is estimated at $1,020. Also included in the scope is the trial of foam injection technology on one of MYTC’s mowing tractors, which see weekly use during the mowing season. MYTC’s box truck is also in need of two new front tires. This vehicle serves as a secondary vehicle for MYTC’s trail maintenance work supporting larger work sessions / multiple crews.
