The SVTC is applying for a small tractor with a front loader and a cycle bar mower attachment.

We are also applying for a used storage container unit in which to store the tractor.

Our trail segment has several miles that pass on a shelf on a hillside. Due to the steep inclines on both sides of the trail, our current mower is not capable of clearing the sides of the trail of overhanging bushes and knotweed. A cycle bar mower is an ideal solution for this overhang and growth protruding through our fencing.

We also have a problem with landslides which we have to pay contractors to clear. The tractor will be equipped with a bucket loader. This will enable our volunteers to clear small slides, move fallen boulders, level out uneven edges along the trail berms, and clear drainage ditches.
