This Eagle Scout project develops a picnic and rest area near the Belmar trailhead of the Sandycreek Trail, near Franklin.

The project includes two picnic tables of pressure treated lumber, which will be cemented into the ground. Mulch will be placed under the tables to keep maintenance low. A fire ring will be near the tables.

The grant from the Trail Volunteer Fund provides lumber, hardware, mulch, and cement for the Scout to use in constructing the picnic area.
