This project supports volunteers who are doing the initial clearing, grading, and rolling on the new Redbank Valley Trail

The Redbank Valley Trail was acquired in 2010. Since then, volunteers using borrowed tractor, grader, and roller have been clearing brush, digging drainage ditches, and doing other work to prepare a smooth, though not completely finished, surface.

The grant from the Trail Volunteer Fund supports purchase of fuel and oil for heavy equipment used by volunteers for trail construction on the Redbank Valley Trail and for gates to exclude motorized traffic from that trail.

Grant awarded December 2010
Project completed October 2011
