This project installs gates to exclude motor vehicles for a new section of the Butler-Freeport Trail on the south side of Butler.

The Butler Freeport Community Trail is being extended 4.5 miles from its current end at Bonniebrook Rd to Father Mandarino Park in Butler. The trail extension project includes gates at the road crossings to exclude motor vehicles from the trail.

This grant from the Trail Volunteer Fund is being used to purchase steel gates that will be installed by volunteers.

Grant awarded April 2008
